(2) Personal profile: You can choose to provide your profile picture, first name (optional), last name (optional), field of expertise (optional), role, and mood message. Related data will be displayed in your Profile and you can view and modify your member information and set your nickname.

(3) Activity sign-up: When you sign up for an online or offline activity of OceanClub or an activity organized by a third party, we will collect the following information you enter on the activity sign-up page: your first name, last name, country/region, city, email address, mobile number (optional for users outside China), company, position, industry, and password. If you sign up for an activity organized by a third party, the aforementioned information will be collected by the activity organizer.

(4) Posts, articles, and activity records: To help you track OceanClub activities that you participate in and related materials, and search for posts you publish or add to favorites, related records will be saved and displayed in My favorites, My events, My Posts, and My articles.

(5) Posting and submission: When you publish posts or articles on OceanClub, or submit articles to user journals of OceanClub, your nickname, country/region, city, email address, mobile number (optional for users outside China), company, position, industry, field of expertise, and password will be collected.

(6) Point management: According to the point collection rules, the following behavior will be recorded and processed to increase the points under your account: member registration, providing complete profile information, activity sign-up, sign-in, publishing posts and articles, publishing comments, giving likes, adding to favorites, sharing, download, member referral, article submission, etc.

(7) Redeeming points for gifts: Your name, personal address, and mobile number will be collected.

2. Cookies

To ensure this Website works properly, we may at times store small data files called cookies on your computer or mobile device. Like many other websites or Internet service providers, OceanClub uses cookies to improve user experience. OceanClub is a global open data storage technology community. The OceanClub website server is deployed in Hong Kong, China. Therefore, personal data collected by OceanClub will be stored in Hong Kong, China.

This Terms of Use ("TOU") is an agreement entered into by and between the OceanClub community (hereinafter referred to as this "Community", "Community", or "OceanClub") and Community service users (hereinafter, "users", "you", or "your"). Please read this TOU carefully before you use the services provided by this Community. If you do not agree to this TOU or any amendment made in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations for websites, you shall stop using the services provided by this Community. Once you use the services provided by this Community, you are deemed to have (a) fully understood and agreed to the contents of this TOU, including any amendments made by this Community to this TOU at any time, and (b) become a Community user.

1.1 This Community provides users with interaction and communication services, including but not limited to publishing information about the storage industry, browsing the content in this Community, releasing and replying comments, giving likes, and sharing relevant content.

6.2 This Community is not liable for any direct or indirect losses that you may suffer during the use of services provided by this Community, including but not limited to loss of profits and goodwill.

6.3 You shall not transfer, sell, or lend your account and password to others. Only the original registrant has the right to use an account. You shall bear all responsibilities for any actions performed using your account.

6.4 If you sign up for the offline peer communication activities released in this Community, you shall comply with the activity rules. This Community is not responsible for any changes to or potential risks of the offline activities.

This TOU takes effect as of the date when you start to use the services of this Community and terminates upon your stop using the services of this Community.
