Western data release128TB large capacity QLC enterprise SSD

on August 7th, Western data released 128TB ultra-large capacity enterprise SSD at the FMS 2024 Storage Summit. The new 128TB ultra-large capacity SSD will be officially released in 2025. Western data also revealed its future plans, it is estimated that 256TB will be launched in 2027 and will reach 1PB in the future.

Western data:"This new 128TB ultra-large SSD uses the 8th generation BiCS8 NAND jointly developed by West Digital and Toshiba, which belongs to QLC technology. This SSD can meet the performance and capacity requirements in AI, machine learning (ML), and large language model (LLM) scenarios."
