By the end of 2022, the total data volume reached 8.1ZB, ranking second in the world, has become a real data Power. However, compared with the world's advanced level, there are still gaps in SSD proportion, low computing-storage ratio, low disaster recovery coverage, etc, it has not become a data power.

 

In the development of AI big models, data is the core element of building the competitiveness of AI big models. Only by realizing a powerful country in data can we build a powerful country in AI. China needs to increase the accumulation of high-quality data sets to lead the AI era.

 

Zhou Yuefeng indicates, from a big data country to a big data country, data must be saved first. At present, various industries in our country pay more attention to computing power than storage power, which leads to the higher computing power than the construction investment and construction level of storage power. For example, the Computing-storage ratio of medical industry is 1.25:1, the calculation-to-deposit ratio of the financial industry is as high as 2.94:1, which is much higher than the 0.9:1 ratio of similar industries in developed countries. We should improve the level of deposit construction so that the data can be effectively preserved. In addition, the previous construction mode with computing power as the center and chimney type resulted in data splitting and low migration efficiency; And the construction mode of integrated power center will greatly change this situation, the integration of data and computing enables computing power to provide diversified services while avoiding invalid data relocation.

 

Secondly, data should not only be saved, but also be saved well. Accelerating the application of advanced SSD media will greatly reduce the potential security risks in the data industry. Compared with mechanical disks, flash disks support high IOPS performance, low latency, lower annual return rate, and are more suitable for the global data center's low-carbon goal of green energy saving.

 

Third, data needs to be stored safely. Data disaster recovery is still a weak link in China. According to statistics, only 22 percent of Chinese enterprises implement data backup and only 12 percent implement business disaster recovery, according to the action plan for high-quality development of computing power infrastructure, disaster recovery coverage rate of core data and important data in key industries is required to reach 100%. In addition, it is necessary to establish storage endogenous security to reduce the use of uncontrollable open source software.
