one day, the storage alarm platform reports: & ldquo; Port jitter, optical fiber switch port: fc1/21 link reset (received) in the last hour exceeded the set threshold [15]14 times & rdquo;... The information is as follows:

is there a problem with the sfp module on the optical communication, the HBA card or sfp module on the terminal server, or the optical fiber cable between the server and the optical communication?

Troubleshooting ideas:

①, porterrshow 21 checks whether the port parameters are abnormal. After observing for a period of time, it finds that the key parameters have not changed or increased, including link, loss sig crc, etc...

②, sfpshow 21 check whether the optical power is normal, whether it is very low, and find that it is normal, relatively high, not too low...

③, Portshow 21 check the modules, lr_in and ols_out. If lr_in>ols_out, you can basically determine that it is a problem with the server's HBA card or sfp.

Solution:

replace the optical fiber card module of the server host. If the optical fiber card cannot be replaced, the SFP module will be used.

Clear the data, observe for a few minutes or a period of time, no error is reported, done.
